Cowie Fish market has been working in the fish and seafood domain since 1985. Starting out as a simple fish market and little by little the firm added different specialties to it's activities.

The distribution service to restaurants, grocery stores along with the Hotel sector and a delivery service five days a week between Montreal and Drummondville.

We operate on an 11,000 sq. ft. surface, the transformation and repack are all done under very strict, rigorous (HACCP) norms.

We also have a retail store situated at 538 Blvd. Boivin, Granby offering a wide range of products fresh, frozen and ready to serve.

 

Suppliers:

Our supplies arrive worldwide, Nova Scotia, Bristish Colombia, Miami, Alaska, Indonesia and China. The owner visits these establishments periodically in order to assure the integrity of our specifications.

. Freezer warehouse of 3,000 sq. ft. (25 ft. high)
. Fast Freeze room at -45 degrees celsius
. Refrigerated warehouse with tank
. Four refrigerated rooms, computer regulated temperature controlled every 30 minutes
. Central sanitation system
. Generators in place to assure energy independance in case of hydro breakdown

Quality Control:

Since the year 2000 we are certified HACCP with standardized norms for world trade and commerce of fish and seafood integrating the highest quality from all aspects for maximum freshness. We execute an integral quality control from the reception of the product to delivery with all the processes in between consisting of packing, labelling and storage.
